upwegrow and Catastrophe Chocolates invite you to celebrate a fun evening of chocolate education, truffle making and plant enjoyment! This event on February 13, 2025 at 6:30pm is the perfect night for your Valentine, Galentine or favourite group of humans.
What can you expect at this event?
We will start the evening with a participatory ganache making session.
This will be followed by a chocolate tasting of 9 different chocolates. You will learn how to properly taste chocolate, how growing locales affect flavour, how different sugars affect flavour, and sample some fruit chocolates.
This will be followed by a demonstration of microwave tempering techniques.
Each participant will then hand roll and dip or coat 12 truffles in various coatings.
Every participant will leave with a 12 pc truffle box, a plant and plant pot. The store will remain open for shopping after the workshop with a 10% discount in effect.
