Foliage & Fortune is upwegrow's after-hours bingo night — and it's exactly what it sounds like. Doors are locked, at 7 the cards come out, and six rounds of increasingly nerdy plant bingo begin. No experience required. Extremely good vibes mandatory.
How it works
Rounds 1–3 are plant name bingo — common houseplant names on the card, photos revealed as each one is called. Great for beginners, surprisingly competitive for everyone else.
Rounds 4–6 level up to care fact bingo — terms like fenestration, rhizome, and etiolation replace the names. If you know your stuff, this is your moment. If you don't, you're about to learn something.
What you can win
Every round has a plant prize. Prizes escalate across the evening — from 4" common plants in the early rounds to rarer, higher-value plants as the night goes on. The final round plays for the Fortune Prize: one premium or rare plant announced at the start of the evening so everyone knows exactly what's at stake.
And if you don't win a round? You still leave with a plant. Every guest is guaranteed a take-home plant — no exceptions.
