Neon Pothos is a cultivar of Epipremnum aureum that has bright chartreuse colored heart shaped leaves that grow on long vines. Although it is a climbing plant native to French Polynesia and the Solomon Islands, it is commonly kept as a hanging plant allowing its vines to cascade over the sides of its pot. However, if allowed to climb a pole or plank the size of the stems and leaves will naturally grow larger and eventually begin to fenestrate.
Neon Pothos requires bright indirect light and a well draining soil mix in order to thrive. A tropical soil mix with added amendments for drainage will ensure greater airflow while still maintaining optimum moisture to the root system.
Weekly watering, or when the top inch of the soil has dried out, as well as monthly fertilizing will help keep this plant thriving.
